Brand Selection: The Salting NYC
Welcome to the first episode of Adrian’s Selection Episode 1. This is a series where I introduce brands that I like and hope you will too! The brands include not only clothing brands but also accessories, and furnitures, etc… Essentially anything that I find beautiful and want to share with you all. Let’s get started!

In 2018, after an exhausting career in high fashion, Michael Ward and Michael Smaldone came to the eastmost side of Long Island and started this humble, unisex brand. With a blend of understated elegance and subtle innovation, complemented by impeccable craftsmanship, each piece beckons you with an irresistible allure. This your summer essential.
Outfit one:
Check out Mr. Michael Ward on the right, the co-founder of the Salting NYC. Here is an example of how I would wear it, a mixture of breeziness and smart casual. It’s rare to see a casual beach style pants that can pair with leather boots and sweater and still looks cool in New York City. It’s an interesting combination and it tells you that this brand is not your ordinary “high quality“, “basic“, and “casual“ wear brand. If you don’t believe me, believe the best-dressed man in the world, Nick Wooster, who has been promoting the brand for years.
Outfit 2:
Wear the beautiful white shirt with nothing underneath but attitude!
My Pick:
They don’t have sale now and the price is on the steeper end(avg $325). Because of the price and not having sale, I would go for more basic pieces that have a good cut. For example, this navy jump suit or this navy one. The material is high quality and thick so you can wear them at home or on the street. Thanks to the quality material and super wide cut, they give your outfit a cool silhouette but not too street-weary.
For summer, consider this red strip shirt which uses high quality material. But most importantly it got that strong salt sea breeze aroma. Whenever you see clothes with this kind of strong character, you know it’s a unique piece and you should include it into your closet to enhance your outfit’s character.
